Celebrated our Mums 82nd birthday here today, the food and service were excellent. A big thankyou to all the staff who made the meal special and were so kind and patient with the grandchildren.

I have been visiting this restaurant with my family for years. Without a doubt the best food - never fails to impress. Have enjoyed every experience, the staff are attentive and efficient, the manager always greets us and the food is exceptional- have not had a dish i would not recommend!! Worth every penny!

Eating more traditional Chinese food meant travelling up to China Town in central, now there's no need. Mandarin Palace offers some amazing authentic Chinese food. Haven't tried the dim sum yet, but plan to. Highly recommend the Thai style chicken feet!

The food is delicious: generous portions, very fresh, and nice texture and flavours. The sweet and sour tofu was excellent with a crispy outer and lots of crunchy vegetables. Their vegetarian menu selection is good which is unusual for a Chinese restaurant.

Very nice food here and pretty good dim sum which is convenient as normally you would need to travel into central London for such quality. The place is nicely decorated and there's always plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and attentive. There's free parking at the back, during the week they can provide a permit to use.

We almost always go to The Mandarin Palace at lunchtime for the dim sum. It never disappoints. There’s a good range of dim sum to choose from and everything is authentic. The service is friendly and it’s pretty inexpensive for a restaurant of this quality. It’s a real gem, worth travelling to get to.

Food is really good especially the great selection of dim sum. Portion sizes are however on the smaller side considering the price. The young female waitress was very friendly but all other staff were miserable and not welcoming at all. They were in a rush to get us out by 9 even though I had called to find out the closing time beforehand.

Lovely decor and food is good too. We have been eating here (dine in and take away) since over 10 yrs now and have some favourites but overall food is good. Decor is nice and authentic.

I've visited this restaurant on several occasions, and I must say that the quality of their food has always been remarkable. The standout items are definitely their seafood and dim sum dishes, which are consistently fresh and expertly cooked. I have never been let down by this restaurant. Their menu offers a wide range of dishes from various regions in China, including a great selection of Hong Kong specialties.

Extremely high quality mandarin food. I visited this restaurant lots due to yummy food. Strongly recommended Peking duck and pancakes and lobster noodles. Dim Sum is nice as well. These dishes need skill and Mandarin Palace made a good job.

Having flown in from Hong Kong to visit my parents, I can confidently say that Mandarin Palace offers authentic Cantonese cuisine that is cooked properly. The flavours and quality of the food rivals many of the restaurants I've tried in London Chinatown, so if you live nearby, save yourself the headache of going into Central London and eat here instead - the food is just as good, if not even better!

Great local Chinese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese cuisine. Good variety of high quality dim sum dishes for that dumpling fix! The buns are excellent and served warm for maximum pillowy goodness.

Excellent dim sum menu in; selection, price and quality. We have not found anything better this far east of China Town and are so grateful for this gem. The hosts are always friendly and the kids really enjoy the food too because it is simply delicious. My favourites include the scallop dumplings, Turnip cakes, spicy squid, chicken dumplings in chilli oil, and the char sui buns.
